Material & Craft
This flower ear cuff begins in wax — a single iris carved petal by petal on a curved stem, then cast in S925 sterling silver by the lost-wax method. The bloom is worked open, its falls and standards crimped and veined, so it catches light the way a living iris does rather than reflecting it flat. The open band ends asymmetrically: a small bud on one side, a smooth rounded tip on the other.
Wearing & Styling
Worn without a piercing, the flower ear cuff clips onto the outer edge of the ear and settles where the cartilage curves, with the iris resting at the rim. Wear it high on one ear as a silver ear cuff on its own, or above our iris earrings on the lobe. The same iris runs through a matching iris ring and, at full scale, our iris flower bouquet.
About This Piece
The iris appears throughout this collection as bouquet, ring, earrings, and here, a single bloom following the edge of the ear. Each version keeps a different part of the plant’s gesture. In this flower ear cuff, the curved stem matters as much as the bloom, turning a botanical study into a piece worn close to the face.

Lost-wax casting does the rest. The wax melts away, silver fills what remains. What emerges is rough, honest, full of the maker’s decisions. Then the slow work begins — filing, polishing, setting stones one by one, until only what belongs is left.
Your order is wrapped the same way it was made: by hand. Paper box, polishing cloth, care card, wax-sealed envelope — tied with string, not tape. No plastic. No filler. Because the last step of making something well is sending it well.
