About the Jewelry
Q: What materials do you use?
Three grades of silver, depending on the piece.
S925 (sterling silver) — 92.5% silver, the international standard. Strong enough for detailed work and daily wear. Most pieces in the collection use it.
990 silver — 99% pure, unplated. Softer, warmer in tone. Chinese silversmiths have worked with it for generations. It develops a quiet patina over time.
999 fine silver — 99.9% pure, unplated. The softest of the three, best suited for sculptural and organic forms.
Natural gemstones — moonstone, topaz, garnet, turquoise, and others — are chosen for their character, not uniformity. No two stones look exactly alike.
Some pieces include gold plating over sterling silver, noted in the product description.
Q: Are these really handmade?
Yes — every piece is made by hand, start to finish, in an independent Chinese studio. No assembly lines, no machines doing the shaping.
The core technique is lost-wax casting: a wax original is carved, encased in plaster, melted away, and replaced with molten silver. After casting, each piece is filed, sanded, polished, and finished by the same designer-maker who created it.
The process takes days. Sometimes weeks for complex work. That timeline is the point.
Q: Why do some pieces look slightly different from the photos?
Because they’re made by hand. Small variations in texture, weight, and gemstone color are normal — and intentional. These aren’t flaws. They’re the marks of a real person shaping real material.
If a piece includes a natural gemstone, expect slight differences in color and pattern. That’s what makes it yours.
Q: How do I find my ring size?
Each ring product page includes sizing guidance. Most rings are adjustable within a range — check the product description for details.
If the ring requires a specific size, leave your ring size in the order notes at checkout. Not sure of your size? Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits well, or use a printable ring sizer — search “printable ring sizer” for free options online.

Orders & Shipping
Q: How long does it take to receive my order?
Every piece is handcrafted after ordering — nothing is pulled from a shelf. Production time depends on the piece:
– Open rings and regular pieces: 1–2 weeks (some stock may ship sooner)
– Closed rings and standard custom: 2–3 weeks
– Fully custom jewelry: 4–6 weeks
Once shipped, delivery typically takes 7–15 business days, depending on your location. Delivery times are estimated and may vary due to customs or peak seasons.
Planning a gift? Order at least 3 weeks ahead to be safe.
Q: Where do orders ship from?
Orders ship from the studio in China via international express. Once the package reaches your country, a local carrier handles the final delivery.
Q: Is shipping free?
Free worldwide standard shipping on orders over $100. Orders under $100, shipping starts at $7.
Q: Will I have to pay customs or import duties?
All orders are shipped with shipping-related taxes included. In most cases, no additional customs duties or import taxes are required upon delivery.
If customs duties are applied by the destination country, these charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Orders with prepaid duties (displayed at checkout) will not incur extra tax upon delivery.
Q: Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, as long as it hasn’t shipped yet. Email service@lazesoul.com with your order number and the change you need.
Once a piece has shipped, changes aren’t possible — but you can return it after delivery (see Returns below).
Returns & Exchanges
Q: What's the return policy?
15-day returns from the date of delivery — as long as the piece is unworn, undamaged, and in its original packaging (pouch, box, tags).
These cannot be returned: custom-made pieces, personalized or engraved items, Mystery Box items, rings modified to non-standard sizes, and individual items from a set. Gift cards are also final sale.
Exchanges are not available — if a piece doesn’t work, return it and place a new order.
Q: How do I start a return?
Email service@lazesoul.com with your order number. The team will confirm eligibility and send you the return address.
Return shipping is at the buyer’s cost. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Q: How long until I get my refund?
Refunds are processed within 7 days after the returned item is received and inspected, using the same payment method as the original order. Your bank may take a few additional days to post it.
Note: original shipping fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.
Custom Orders
Q: Can I request a custom piece?
Yes. Lazesoul works with independent designer-makers who take custom commissions — from modified versions of existing designs to entirely new pieces.
Start by visiting the Design Custom Jewelry page, or email service@lazesoul.com with your idea. Photos, sketches, or descriptions all help.
Q: How long does a custom order take?
Most custom pieces take 4–6 weeks to complete, starting after design approval, size confirmation, and order submission. Complex work or pieces with specific gemstones may take longer. The timeline is confirmed before production begins — no surprises.
Jewelry Care
Q: How should I care for my silver jewelry?
Silver is a living material — it changes over time. A little attention keeps it at its best.
After wearing, wipe gently with a soft cloth to remove oils and moisture. Store pieces individually in the pouch they came in, in a dry place. A silica gel packet in the storage box helps prevent tarnish.
Avoid contact with perfume, lotion, hairspray, and cleaning products — apply these first, then put on your jewelry.
Q: My silver is tarnishing. Is that normal?
Yes. Tarnish is silver reacting to air and moisture — it’s not damage. Many people prefer the darkened, aged look it creates, especially on textured and sculptural pieces.
To restore brightness, use a silver polishing cloth (included with your order) and rub gently. For heavier tarnish, a silver cleaning solution works — avoid abrasive cleaners or ultrasonic machines, which can damage surface detail.
Q: When should I take my jewelry off?
Before swimming (chlorine and saltwater accelerate tarnish), exercising (sweat and impact), showering, sleeping, and doing housework with chemicals. Basically — if your hands are getting wet or rough, take it off first.
