Late autumn takes the garden back. Every year, without argument.
These irises were carved in wax and cast in silver before the season could reach them — petals still crimped mid-turn, the way Van Gogh refused to let his sit still.
Whatever you can’t say out loud, hand it to them to carry.
They won’t wilt, and they won’t break.
- Metal: 950 Silver (95% pure)

Details
Material & Craft
Every stem of this iris flower bouquet starts as wax — petals carved by hand, edges crimped and veined, then cast in 950 silver by the lost-wax method. That is 95% pure, above the 92.5% sterling standard. Three open blooms, one bud still closed, and a single leaf blade, each cast separately and joined stem by stem. The surface is left matte rather than mirror-polished, so the ruffled petals catch light the way iris petals do at dusk, not like metal. Wrapped in hand-torn, tea-stained paper and tied with jute twine, exactly as photographed.
Displaying & Gifting
Tradition assigns each anniversary a metal and a flower. For the twenty-fifth, the metal is silver and the flower is the iris — which makes this iris flower bouquet both at once, and the only thing on that list you don’t have to throw out after a week. At 150 mm it stands in a narrow vase or stays in its paper on a desk. A silver flower bouquet reads well for a birthday or a new address too. For a lighter gesture from the same maker, there is the mini lily bouquet and the lily of the valley bouquet.
About This Piece
The flower is named for Iris, the Greek messenger who walked the rainbow between the gods and the ground — she carried down what people could not say themselves. That is the job the flower kept: hope, wisdom, a message worth the trip. Silver suits the errand. It does not fade on the way, and it does not pretend the season isn’t coming. A cut bouquet of iris keeps its promise for a week. This iris flower bouquet keeps the same posture through late autumn, and the autumn after that.

A Note on Handmade Work
Each piece is cast and finished individually. Small variations in texture, shape, or surface are part of the process — not defects. For jewelry with natural gemstones, expect slight differences in color and pattern from piece to piece.
CARE & SIZING
Care
Sterling silver develops a natural patina over time — that’s part of its character. To slow the process:
– Remove before swimming, bathing, or exercise
– Keep away from perfume, lotion, and household chemicals
– Store in the included pouch or a dry, enclosed space
– Wipe with the polishing cloth included in your order
Every order comes with a silver polishing cloth and a care card.

For sized rings, leave your ring size in the order notes at checkout. Not sure? Leave a message — we’ll reach out to confirm before crafting.
Handcrafted Process & Packaging
Every piece begins as a block of wax and a quiet idea — carved in the hand, tested against skin, before it ever touches fire.
Lost-wax casting does the rest. The wax melts away, silver fills what remains. What emerges is rough, honest, full of the maker’s decisions. Then the slow work begins — filing, polishing, setting stones one by one, until only what belongs is left.
Your order is wrapped the same way it was made: by hand. Paper box, polishing cloth, care card, wax-sealed envelope — tied with string, not tape. No plastic. No filler. Because the last step of making something well is sending it well.
