This blue topaz statement ring is made in S925 sterling silver and set with natural topaz in a pale blue tone. Radial facets draw light toward the centre of the round stone, while a polished eye-shaped frame leaves two open spaces at either side. The broad band is finished with a quieter matte surface, creating a clear contrast around the stone. Each natural gemstone varies slightly in tone, clarity and internal markings.

Lost-wax casting does the rest. The wax melts away, silver fills what remains. What emerges is rough, honest, full of the maker’s decisions. Then the slow work begins — filing, polishing, setting stones one by one, until only what belongs is left.
