Material & Craft
The petals, centre and band begin as separate wax forms before being cast in 950 silver through lost-wax casting. Once cast, the parts are joined, refined and polished by hand. Small shifts in height and spacing remain around the pin-dotted centre, keeping the flower from settling into mechanical symmetry.
Wearing & Styling
Two curved lines rise toward the flower, giving the bloom lightness above the finger instead of the density of a solid band. About This Piece
The daisy is known as an April birth flower, but this piece does not reduce it to a tidy emblem. As the hand moves, overlapping petals separate and meet again, shifting between outline, shadow and light.
