Material & Craft
This amazonite necklace brings together natural amazonite and handmade glass in sea-worn shades of blue, green, cream, rust and amber. Softly irregular S925 silver spacers interrupt the strand. The silver elements are shaped through a lost-wax process and refined by hand. Differences in colour, translucency, veining and bead outline belong to the materials and make each strand slightly different.
Wearing & Styling
The short amazonite bead necklace sits close to the collarbone, making a compact band of colour against bare skin, dark knitwear or white cotton. The same strand can also be wrapped twice around the wrist, moving its colour from neckline to hand. About This Piece
Sea Made Still belongs to Island, a series that imagines the body as a moving island rather than a fixed place. Its beads do not reduce the sea to one clean blue: clouded greens, pale mineral tones and warm shore-like notes sit beside clear glass. The strand feels gathered from shifting water, stone and light—an object made to travel with the person wearing it.

Lost-wax casting does the rest. The wax melts away, silver fills what remains. What emerges is rough, honest, full of the maker’s decisions. Then the slow work begins — filing, polishing, setting stones one by one, until only what belongs is left.
