Each leaf begins as a separate wax model, with its vein lines worked into the surface before lost-wax casting in S925 sterling silver. After casting, the leaves are joined by hand into an asymmetrical pair: a three-leaf sprig for one ear and a fuller five-leaf sprig for the other. The two clusters are refined and finished individually, leaving slight differences in edge, vein, and angle. Together, they become a pair of sterling silver leaf stud earrings that feel related without being identical.

The three- and five-leaf forms follow the earlobe without becoming mirror images. About This Piece
Trumpet creeper is a climbing vine: it turns, reaches, and rarely repeats the same arrangement of leaves. This design carries that habit into silver rather than reducing the plant to a single symmetrical motif. The pair is assembled from separately cast elements in an independent Chinese studio, where wax work, joining, refining, and final arrangement are completed in-house. Small shifts in angle and surface belong to the piece rather than being corrected into factory sameness.
