Somewhere in a drawer is a small plastic egg that once depended on you.
You fed it between classes; you mourned it, briefly, when it starved.
This is that little life, remade to last — solid silver, a gemstone where the screen used to glow.
It doesn’t need feeding anymore. This time, it’s the one that stays.

Material & Craft
Hand-carved in wax and cast in S925 sterling silver using lost wax casting, this digital pet necklace keeps the grammar of the original — the rounded egg, the square screen, the small accents beneath it — all translated into metal and stone. Where the screen once glowed, a square-cut natural gemstone is bezel-set into the silver; you choose the stone. Hand-finished with soft organic texture, no plating — a y2k necklace made to outlast its era.
Wearing & Styling
The gemstone choice doubles as a birthstone choice: garnet for January, amethyst for February, peridot for August, topaz for November. The wearing chain comes in 45 or 50 cm, and a short 10 cm ball chain trails off the pendant — the way the original hung from its keyring. Worn over knits or a plain tee, it reads as a y2k necklace done quietly: one icon, no clutter. Made to order, which suits what it is — a keepsake for anyone who grew up keeping something alive in their pocket, and a y2k necklace that carries a real stone instead of a printed charm. It lives in our anime jewelry collection, and stones can go further through our custom jewelry design service.
About This Piece
The maker behind this piece has loved 2D culture for decades and grew tired of how it gets sold — thin plating, printed charms, merchandise. So this y2k necklace is built the opposite way: real silver, a real stone, slow lost-wax work applied to the defining pocket companion of the era. Each one is finished by hand, so no two screens sit exactly alike. The creature was always one of a kind. Now the necklace is too.

A Note on Handmade Work
Each piece is cast and finished individually. Small variations in texture, shape, or surface are part of the process — not defects. For jewelry with natural gemstones, expect slight differences in color and pattern from piece to piece.
CARE & SIZING
Care
Sterling silver develops a natural patina over time — that’s part of its character. To slow the process:
– Remove before swimming, bathing, or exercise
– Keep away from perfume, lotion, and household chemicals
– Store in the included pouch or a dry, enclosed space
– Wipe with the polishing cloth included in your order
Every order comes with a silver polishing cloth and a care card.

For sized rings, leave your ring size in the order notes at checkout. Not sure? Leave a message — we’ll reach out to confirm before crafting.
Handcrafted Process & Packaging
Every piece begins as a block of wax and a quiet idea — carved in the hand, tested against skin, before it ever touches fire.
Lost-wax casting does the rest. The wax melts away, silver fills what remains. What emerges is rough, honest, full of the maker’s decisions. Then the slow work begins — filing, polishing, setting stones one by one, until only what belongs is left.
Your order is wrapped the same way it was made: by hand. Paper box, polishing cloth, care card, wax-sealed envelope — tied with string, not tape. No plastic. No filler. Because the last step of making something well is sending it well.
