Material & Craft
This horse ring is hand-carved in wax and cast in 999 fine silver using lost wax casting. The horse, rider and surrounding symbols take shape in the wax stage, leaving small shifts in depth and line across the relief. The surface is unplated, so raised areas will brighten with wear while recessed marks gradually hold a darker patina.
Wearing & Styling
The broad band gives the ring a clear weight and presence on the hand. Its relief changes with the light — quieter indoors and sharper in direct sun — while the smooth interior keeps the form comfortable against the finger. About This Piece
An original drawing of a running horse and rider moves across the silver alongside scattered stars and other small marks. Rather than forming a fixed emblem, the images continue around the band as fragments: one appears, another slips from view, and the scene changes as the hand turns. The horse ring belongs to Flowflaw’s open visual language, where symbols remain available to the wearer instead of arriving with one assigned meaning.

Returns accepted within 15 days of delivery — unworn, in original condition and packaging. Email us for return instructions before sending anything back.

Sterling silver develops a natural patina over time — that’s part of its character. To slow the process:

Every piece begins as a block of wax and a quiet idea — carved in the hand, tested against skin, before it ever touches fire.
Lost-wax casting does the rest. The wax melts away, silver fills what remains. What emerges is rough, honest, full of the maker’s decisions. Then the slow work begins — filing, polishing, setting stones one by one, until only what belongs is left.
Your order is wrapped the same way it was made: by hand. Paper box, polishing cloth, care card, wax-sealed envelope — tied with string, not tape. No plastic. No filler. Because the last step of making something well is sending it well.
