Material & Craft
Cast from an original design in S925 sterling silver, then hand-finished in three variations. Oxidized silver darkens the recessed details for contrast. Natural silver keeps the metal’s warm, untreated tone. Matte white silver is heat-treated and acid-pickled to a soft frosted surface. No plating on any version. Each finish ages differently — oxidized deepens, natural develops patina, matte white softens where skin and fabric wear the edges slightly brighter. An adjustable orchid ring built to change with the wearer, not against them.
Wearing & Styling
The open band adjusts from US 5 to 7, or can be made to your exact size — leave your ring size in the order note. This orchid ring reads differently on each finish: sharper in oxidized, quieter in matte white, warmest in natural. Sits well on the index or ring finger — alone or alongside a plain band to let the orchid stand forward. A sterling silver flower ring that shifts presence depending on which surface you choose. The oxidized version leans darker — closer to a gothic garden than a botanical one. Natural silver is the warmest. Matte white is the quietest.
About This Piece
The Chinese name for phalaenopsis translates to butterfly orchid — because at full bloom, the petals look like wings mid-beat. The designer kept that duality: flower and flight, stillness and tremor. Silver acts as a framework the living orchid never had — holding a shape past the point where biology would let go. Each orchid ring is hand-finished after casting, with the final surface chosen to match how the wearer wants it to age.

Handcrafted Process & Packaging
Every piece begins as a block of wax and a quiet idea — carved in the hand, tested against skin, before it ever touches fire.
Lost-wax casting does the rest. The wax melts away, silver fills what remains. What emerges is rough, honest, full of the maker’s decisions. Then the slow work begins — filing, polishing, setting stones one by one, until only what belongs is left.
Your order is wrapped the same way it was made: by hand. Paper box, polishing cloth, care card, wax-sealed envelope — tied with string, not tape. No plastic. No filler. Because the last step of making something well is sending it well.
