Material & Craft
Cast from an original design in S925 sterling silver, hand-finished to a matte white surface. Each earring is an openwork structure — multiple silver lines radiate outward from a central axis, none touching, each following its own trajectory. No molds, no plating. After casting, the silver is heat-treated and acid-pickled to a matte white finish — a process that strips away all shine, leaving a soft frosted grain across the surface. Light scatters rather than reflects, giving these sterling silver statement earrings a quiet, almost textile-like texture against skin. Over time the matte surface develops subtle tonal shifts where fingertips and fabric wear the edges slightly brighter.
Wearing & Styling
Lighter than they look for handmade silver earrings this sculptural. Movement changes everything — the lines overlap differently with every tilt, catching and releasing light in sequence. Head-on they read as a compact cluster; in profile the individual lines fan outward into a silver ear cuff-like silhouette. Lost-wax casting does the rest. The wax melts away, silver fills what remains. What emerges is rough, honest, full of the maker’s decisions. Then the slow work begins — filing, polishing, setting stones one by one, until only what belongs is left.
Your order is wrapped the same way it was made: by hand. Paper box, polishing cloth, care card, wax-sealed envelope — tied with string, not tape. No plastic. No filler. Because the last step of making something well is sending it well.
