Five uneven spires rise from a narrow helmet-like face. Engraved planes, open cutouts and small projecting edges break the surface into alternating silver highlights and darkened recesses; the contrast changes as the ring turns. Minor differences in finishing remain part of the piece.

The maker’s original notes trace the design to the armored Dark Lord of Middle-earth.
